Tonya White-Harris is a Licensed Professional Counselor based in the Metro Atlanta area. Working in both private and community-based settings, she provides mental health therapy to a wide range of clients, from young children to geriatric populations. Growing up in rural Louisiana, Tonya often felt that the specific needs and specialized care that she and some of her classmates needed were overlooked by adults at the elementary and middle school levels. This sparked her passion for providing mental health services to rural and young populations. After years as a long-term care practitioner, Tonya decided to return to her roots (early passion) and further expand her studies in mental health. As a therapist, she works to ensure that no one has to struggle, combat bullying, or face any of the “isms” on their own. Tonya provides a warm, compassionate, and supportive environment where individuals feel safe expressing and exploring who they are. She integrates evidence-based practices, mindfulness techniques, and collaborative goal-setting to create a personalized therapeutic journey for each client. Tonya is dedicated to helping individuals build effective coping skills, strengthen resilience, and navigate life’s complexities with greater confidence and balance. I see you, I hear you, and I am with you.
