Introduction

Life can feel overwhelming at times, especially during periods of transition, uncertainty, or change. My goal is to provide a supportive, collaborative space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to navigate life's challenges. I believe that every person’s story is unique, and I tailor therapy to meet your individual needs, strengths, and goals. My passion lies in reproductive mental health and women's issues, with a particular interest in supporting postpartum women, adult child-free by choice women, and women navigating relationship challenges, identity shifts, and major life transitions. Relationships can deeply impact our emotional well-being, whether you're experiencing communication difficulties, boundary concerns, conflict, dating challenges, changing family dynamics, or struggles within friendships or romantic partnerships. Together, we can explore these experiences and work toward healthier, more fulfilling connections. Whether you are adjusting to new motherhood, managing anxiety or depression, navigating relationship concerns, exploring your sense of self, or facing a significant life transition, I strive to create a space where you can show up authentically and feel supported throughout the process. I earned my bachelor's degrees in Psychological Sciences and Sociology from Purdue University, with minors in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies and Human Development and Family Sciences. I later completed my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Oakland University. Throughout my clinical training, I provided person-centered, culturally responsive therapy to adult women experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, life transitions, and identity-related challenges. My approach integrates evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness practices, and somatic techniques. I work from a strengths-based, feminist, and holistic perspective, recognizing the many factors that shape our experiences, identities, and well-being. I believe you are the expert on your own life. Together, we will explore your experiences with curiosity and compassion, identify meaningful goals, and build on your existing strengths. My hope is to help you cultivate greater self-awareness, self-compassion, and resilience while creating lasting change that enhances your quality of life.
