Introduction

Being human is weird and messy. Learning to live with our own thoughts and our internal narratives can be exhausting. I work with clients addressing concerns related to anxiety, chronic illness, grief, burnout, relationship stress, family stress, work stress, body image, eating disorders, health trauma, and depression. I have experience working with other health professionals on their own mental health journeys. I enjoy working with "overachievers" and "people pleasers" who are interested in understanding and shifting these patterns. I enjoy supporting clients who are balancing their own case management of chronic health needs. My goal is not to "fix" you. Therapy is not about getting the "A" or being a "good client". I approach therapy as an ongoing collaborative conversation. I view my role as helping you decide what narrative you choose to write for yourself. I will support and challenge you in experimenting with new patterns and viewpoints as you write your next chapter. I believe Psychotherapy is a space that can assist us in slowing down; a space where we can be authentic, sort through our present, learn from our past, determine what we value, and build new patterns. I respect the humility and courage that it takes to start therapy. I am licensed to practice in AZ, IL, IN, MA, MI, and WI.
