Introduction

I hold a Master and Doctor of Divinity degrees focused on Christian Counseling and am nearing completion of an additional Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Houston Christian University as I work toward becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas. My academic work shows my commitment to blending faith and counseling: my master’s thesis, Family Systems Theory and the Bible (available at https://a.co/d/9dx32De), explores how family dynamics relate to scriptural principles, while my dissertation, The Theology of Brokenness (available at https://a.co/d/i5umx5L), looks at the healing power of vulnerability through a theological perspective. In my practice, I focus on Christ-centered therapy, using Family Systems Theory and Cognitive Behavioral Techniques to support healing and growth. My approach is holistic, compassionate, and based on the belief that faith and good mental health are deeply linked.
