Introduction

Welcome! My name is Travis Yakich, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor In-Training (LPC-IT) in Wisconsin. I earned my master's degree in Behavioral Health Psychology at Carroll University in 2025. I also received a bachelor degree in both Psychology and Neuroscience at Wisconsin Lutheran College in 2022. As a counselor, my initial goal is to provide compassionate, client-centered mental health services. Additionally, as a Christian, I value the role faith and spirituality play in the healing process, and I welcome folks of all walks of faith and backgrounds. My counseling approach, Existential Psychotherapy, emphasizes collaboration, respect, and empowerment, with the goal of helping folks navigate challenges, strengthen resilience, and move toward growing a purposeful, meaningful, and authentic life. WHO DO I WORK WITH? I currently have experience working with young adults through retirement age individuals, but I am also willing to work with young people as young as those attending 7th-12th grade at this time. In terms of challenges, I have worked with folks struggling with anxiety, depression, OCD, and trauma-related disorders. If you have some other kind of struggle, feel free to reach out and I can assess whether I can competently help you or help you find someone else who can!
