Introduction

Hi, I’m Treshana Jonas-Hyatt, but most people call me Trish. I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master's of Science degree from Mercy College and four years of experience supporting individuals, couples, and families through life’s ups and downs. I bring a warm, compassionate, and down-to-earth approach to therapy, creating a space where you can show up just as you are - no judgment, no pressure. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or just trying to make sense of things. I’m here to help you untangle what’s weighing you down, tap into your strengths, reconnect with what matters and start moving toward the life you want. I approach therapy with compassion and collaboration, creating a safe and supportive space where you can openly explore your thoughts and feelings. My focus is on systemic thinking and relational therapy, which means I look at you within the context of your relationships and the influences around you; such as family, friends, work, and any conflicts you may be facing. I have experience helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and life transitions, using evidence-based practices and mindfulness techniques tailored specifically to your needs. Together, we’ll explore how your experiences shape your story and work toward developing new, empowering perspectives that support your growth and healing. Our first session is a gentle space where your story can be shared with care and respect. We’ll take time to get to know each other, explore what brought you to therapy, and discuss your goals and hopes for our work together. My aim is to create a safe, supportive, and comfortable space where you feel free to share openly, honestly and at your own pace. Together, we’ll identify goals that matter most to you. I welcome you just as you are, at your pace and in your time.
