Introduction

Accepting New Patients I’m Tricia Ebert, a psychiatric nurse practitioner with over 16 years of experience in the mental health field. My background includes work as a social worker, addiction counselor, therapist, and now as a PMHNP. This breadth of experience strongly shapes how I approach both therapy and medication management. Because I’ve worked across multiple roles, I don’t view medication and therapy as separate silos. I understand how emotional patterns, life experiences, behavior, and neurobiology interact, and I use that integrated perspective to guide careful assessment and treatment planning. This is especially important when making thoughtful medication decisions—whether starting medication, adjusting treatment, or deciding that medication may not be the right step. I provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and therapy for children ages 6 and older, adolescents, and adults. I commonly work with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, OCD, bipolar and mood concerns, ADHD, trauma-related symptoms, substance use concerns, life transitions, and feeling overwhelmed or stuck. Some people come to me primarily for medication support, while others are looking for a more integrated approach that includes therapy—both are welcome. My goal is to help you understand what’s really going on and to create a treatment plan that feels grounded, collaborative, and aligned with your values and goals. My style is calm, grounded, and practical. Patients often share that they appreciate how thoroughly I listen, how I look beyond symptoms, and how I explain complex information in a way that feels clear and understandable. I aim to create a space where you feel safe, heard, and respected.
