I’m a licensed mental health therapist with more than 15 years of experience in the mental health field. My style is warm, straightforward, and collaborative. I believe therapy works best when you can be yourself, talk honestly about what’s happening, and feel understood without being judged. I don’t believe there is one right way to do therapy. We’ll look at what’s going on in your life, identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and figure out what might actually help. Sometimes that means gaining a different perspective or understanding where something comes from. Other times it means learning practical tools, having difficult conversations, setting boundaries, or deciding what you want to change. I work with adults and couples from a wide range of backgrounds and life experiences. I especially enjoy working with women in their 30s, 40s, 50s and beyond who are navigating relationships, changing roles, identity, aging, anxiety, depression, and major life transitions—including the emotional changes that accompany perimenopause and menopause. My practice is LGBTQ+ affirming and sex-positive, and I welcome clients in diverse relationships, including consensual non-monogamy and polyamory. You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. Sometimes knowing that something isn’t working anymore is enough. If you’re looking for a therapist who will listen, be honest with you, and work alongside you to make meaningful changes, we may be a good fit.
