At the core of my work is the belief that inherent goodness and wisdom resides within every individual. Old wounds can sometimes give rise to parts of ourselves that carry pain or take on protective roles that disconnect us from our core self. I see my role as guiding clients to explore and engage with these parts, as they move towards restored trust & reconnection with their truest selves. When we choose to turn toward our pain rather than away from it, and allow our pain to be witnessed in the presence of safety, our bodies remember what we are already born knowing: we heal when we feel seen and supported by another safe human. I believe that a client’s ability to feel safe enough to be their authentic self begins with the therapist leading with their authentic self. During a session with me, you will find a space that values humor, creativity and play, as we explore and honor the heavy parts of your story. Reaching out to a therapist is an act of bravery that I don’t take lightly. I offer a free, 15- minute phone consultation to answer any questions you may have and see if we may be a good fit.
