Introduction

I am a Licensed Certified Social Worker (LCSW) and Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner with more than 14 years of experience as a licensed mental health professional and over 20 years in the helping profession. I earned my Master of Social Work from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 2011. I primarily work with adults and have training in Somatic Experiencing (SE), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). My approach is tailored to each individual's unique needs, drawing from evidence-based practices while honoring the connection between the mind, body, and nervous system. In addition to my clinical training, I am a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200) with certifications in Yin Yoga, Mindfulness, and Breathwork. I thoughtfully integrate these practices into therapy when appropriate, helping clients develop greater awareness, resilience, and nervous system regulation through a holistic, whole-person approach. My passion is helping adults heal from the effects of past experiences, resolve trauma, and learn to regulate their nervous systems. I believe healing is possible for everyone and that each person has the capacity to reconnect with their authentic self, cultivate resilience, and create a more meaningful and fulfilling life. My goal is to educate, empower, and support you throughout your healing journey. I strive to provide a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard, valued, and accepted. I believe every person deserves to be treated with dignity, respect, and genuine care. Together, we will explore your unique experiences, better understand the patterns that have shaped your life, and develop practical tools to restore balance to your nervous system. My hope is that our work together will help you experience greater self-awareness, emotional well-being, and inner peace while building the confidence to live as your truest, healthiest, and most authentic self. I look forward to working with you! call/text 501-385-0242 or email peaceofmindtherapy.yoga@gmail.com Fax 501-430-3014 1401 Malvern Ave, STE 272 Hot Springs, AR 71901
