I work with teens and young adults navigating life’s big changes and transitions. I aim to support young people in building their confidence and leaning into their unique strengths when things are feeling overwhelming and hard. As a clinician with experience in college and therapeutic school settings, I have a deep understanding of the academic and social pressures that young people face. Whether you are dealing with stress and anxiety, exploring your identity and figuring out who you are, having problems in relationships, or struggling to manage intense emotions, we’ll work together to find tools that help. I integrate practical skill building with a compassionate and strengths-based approach. I am experienced in teaching DBT skills to manage tough emotions in a collaborative way that helps young people to apply skills in school and at home. I work with families to support their child’s skill building and growth, helping families to work towards lasting change. I am experienced in working with young people who are reluctant to engage in treatment, and aim to support individuals and families to increase connection and improve communication. It is my goal to provide a safe and affirming space for adolescents and adults to work through tough times and build resilience in the process.
