Introduction

Life can sometimes feel overwhelming. You may be struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, substance use, or simply feeling like you no longer have control over your life. You may know that you want things to change but feel unsure about where to begin. That is where therapy can help. I believe therapy should be a safe space where you feel comfortable being honest about what you are experiencing without fear of judgment. My personality is warm, compassionate, understanding, and straightforward. I will meet you where you are while also encouraging you to look more closely at the thoughts, behaviors, and patterns that may be keeping you from moving forward. I am here to support you, but I also want to help you recognize your own strength and ability to create change in your life. I have extensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. I also use different therapeutic approaches based on who you are, what you have experienced, and what you need from therapy. I understand that therapy is not one size fits all, so our work together will be tailored to your individual needs, culture, identity, strengths, and goals. Both my personal and professional experiences have taught me that healing is not always easy or straightforward. It takes honesty, patience, self compassion, and a willingness to do the work. You do not have to have everything figured out before starting therapy. You simply need to be willing to begin. Together, we will identify what may be keeping you stuck, develop healthier ways to manage life’s challenges, and work toward the life you truly want. We will work together to help you become more intentional with your life and mindful with your healing. Reach out for a consultation to determine if we are a great fit!
