I’m Tucker Christensen, a Licensed Mental Health Counseling Associate at The Couch in Spokane Valley, WA. I work with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, and addiction, and with couples looking for a real way forward. I’m deeply client-centered, which means I genuinely want to know your story — not just your symptoms. I bring warmth and friendliness into the room alongside clinical skill, and tailor my approach to what will actually work for you. I think of the therapy process a little like a pilgrimage. The path isn’t always smooth, and there are stretches that feel hard or disorienting. But you’re not walking it alone. I see my role as the steady presence beside you for the real, hard parts of the journey. I’m trained in Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). I’m also Gottman Method trained. I’m currently accepting new clients.
