Hello, my name is Tyheem Cooper, and I am a clinical intern with Confidential Confessions Counseling Services, currently completing my Master of Social Work (MSW) at National University, with an expected graduation in June 2026. My passion for this work comes from a genuine desire to support individuals who may feel overwhelmed, emotionally drained, or stuck navigating life’s challenges without a clear path forward. I specialize in working with individuals experiencing anxiety, stress, emotional avoidance, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. Many of the clients I work with are high-functioning on the outside but internally feel exhausted, disconnected, or unsure of how to slow down and process what they are going through. My goal is to help you not only understand what you are experiencing but also develop practical tools and strategies that you can apply in your everyday life. My approach to therapy is integrative, meaning I draw from evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), solution-focused techniques, and trauma-informed, person-centered approaches. I believe therapy should feel both supportive and structured, creating a space where you feel heard and understood, while also working toward meaningful growth and change. In our work together, you can expect a collaborative, non-judgmental environment where we focus on increasing self-awareness, building emotional resilience, and identifying patterns that may no longer be serving you. I strive to help clients move from simply “getting through the day” to feeling more present, grounded, and intentional in their lives. If you are looking for a space where you can be honest, feel supported, and begin making real, lasting changes, I would be honored to work with you.
