Introduction

I am a bilingual (Spanish) licensed therapist in Maryland and Virginia. I provide compassionate, culturally responsive care to adolescents, adults, and families navigating trauma, anxiety, immigration-related stress, family separation, reunification, and other significant life transitions. Throughout my career, I have provided community-based and school-based therapy, facilitated trauma-focused psychoeducational groups, and supported families affected by immigration-related separation and reunification. My approach integrates trauma-informed, somatic, psychodynamic, and evidence-based practices to help clients strengthen emotional regulation, deepen self-awareness, rebuild connection, and develop a greater sense of safety. I earned my bachelor’s degree from Marymount University and hold graduate degrees in Clinical Psychology and Clinical Mental Health Counseling, including a master’s degree from Johns Hopkins University. I am currently pursuing a doctorate in Clinical Psychology at The Chicago School in Washington, D.C., where I continue expanding my clinical knowledge and commitment to culturally responsive care.
