Introduction

Hello, my name is Valisha Moody, and I am a Marriage and Family Therapist based in Colorado who specializes in working with couples and families. I am passionate about helping partners and family members strengthen communication, repair conflict, and rebuild connection in their relationships. I support couples navigating trust issues, communication challenges, and life transitions, as well as families working through conflict, parenting stress, and changing family dynamics. I also work with individuals who want to better understand how their personal experiences, emotions, and relationship patterns impact their connections with others. My approach integrates trauma-informed care and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help clients process experiences that may be impacting their relationships and emotional well-being. I practice through a culturally responsive and affirming lens, recognizing that culture, identity, faith, and lived experiences shape how individuals, couples, and families experience connection, conflict, and healing. My goal is to create a supportive space where clients can deepen understanding, strengthen relationships, and build healthier patterns within themselves and the people they care about.
