Meet Vanessa Vanessa works with adolescents and young adults as they navigate the challenges of growing up, managing emotions, building relationships, and adjusting to life’s changes. She understands that everyone’s experiences are different and believes in helping clients recognize their strengths, develop practical coping skills, and feel more confident in themselves. Her approach to therapy is individualized, strengths-based, and grounded in evidence-based practices. Vanessa draws from a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), motivational interviewing, solution-focused therapy, and behavioral interventions. She also incorporates individualized coaching to help clients build emotional regulation, improve executive functioning, manage stress, and work toward meaningful personal goals. Vanessa has a special interest in working with anxiety, depression, attention and executive functioning challenges, life transitions, family dynamics, and relationship concerns. She strives to create a supportive, culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and LGBTQIA+-affirming environment where clients feel heard, respected, and accepted for who they are. Her goal is to help each client better understand themselves, build resilience, and develop the skills they need to navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence and self-awareness.
