Experiencing daily emotions of sadness or worry can be overwhelming. It can feel even worse when you don’t know who or where to turn for comfort. I work to create that environment clients are looking for to feel peace and support. I welcome clients looking to seek assistance dealing with past and/or present trauma, anxiety, depression, women’s issues, or other life changes causing adjustment disturbances. I also work to help couples get back on track by learning techniques to manage conflict, create shared meaning in their relationship, and build intimacy and connection. I earned my undergraduate degree from Rutgers University in Childhood Studies and Sociology. I continued at Rutgers and earned a Masters in Social Work with a concentration in Children and Mental Health. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, Integrative Treatment of Complex Trauma for Adolescents, and I am a Certified Counseling Trauma Professional (CCTP). I am also trained in Levels I and II of The Gottman Method for Couples. Each client’s treatment is individualized to their personal needs.
