Introduction

Welcome to my practice. I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with over ten years of experience. Currently providing telehealth services for individual therapy in a confidential space. Email is preferred. I'm available mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends. I have experience working as a School Adjustment Counselor at a Pilot middle school in Dorchester with an emphasis on ESL students since I also speak Spanish. I also have experience working in a clinical hospital setting and Elementary school where I provided individual therapy for children as young as six years old up to elderly clients. For several years, I had provided In-Home Therapy services for families with severe emotional distress and family conflict. Understanding the importance of tailoring the needs of each because of their complexity and intensity. I later advanced to a dual role which also included IHT Referral Coordinator for all the IHT Clinicians in my team. My areas of specialty include anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem issues, and relational/family conflict. I am also certified as a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP) and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). My certifications and trainings allow me to be more familiarized and knowledgeable on how to better treat my clients experiencing these issues. I am trained in multiple therapeutic approaches, such as Cognitive Behavorial Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment (ACT), Attachment-Based Child-Parent Psychotherapy, Mindfulness, Strength-Based, Trauma Focused, Compassion Focused, among other approaches. I can modify my approach to suit your therapeutic needs at your pace. I understand it may feel difficult, especially in the beginning, because it involves a level of vulnerability, however I intend to cultivate a safe, non-judgmental space and will go at your pace. What I notice after working with my clients, is a level of gained trust, feeling less heavy from carrying whatever weight they were carrying before, and personal growth. That is the most fulfilling part of my work. To help you explore any aspects of your life that you want to explore, with the hope of recognizing your inner strengths, building your resilience, identifying effective coping strategies, which can improve your mental and physical well-being. Therapy is a journey with the possibility of finding peace and healing within yourself in order to live a more positive life. Still wondering if it's a good fit? Please contact me (email is preferred) for a free 15 minute consultation. Looking forward to working with you! Insurance Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. Please check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions: - Do I have mental health insurance benefits? - What is my deductible and has it been met? - How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover? - What is the coverage amount per therapy session? - What is my co-pay? - Is approval required from my primary care physician?
