Introduction

My practice focuses on therapy addressing relationships with the self, partners & within parenting. Life is about continuously being in relation, both with others and with ourselves. Anxiety, depression, life transitions/new life roles, and trauma make it difficult to show up in these relationships as our grounded selves. As a result, we develop negative self-talk, poor self-perceptions, and our lives become smaller. We struggle to live authentically and to connect with others. Our understanding of our identity is shattered. This is changeable and you are capable. Together we will explore these dynamics: how they were created and establish understanding and action to ground you back into your life. We will work to increase awareness, alter negative thought patterns, and processes trauma. As a result, you will operate from authenticity, heal your relationship with yourself, and strengthen your connections to those meaningful in your life. The journey to creating awareness and change is guided through a supportive and collaborative therapeutic relationship. Together we will establish a trusting space to address experienced challenges. Within parenting, I specialize in working with individuals and couples parenting with childhood trauma, being a cycle breaking parent, and parenting with anxiety. Additionally, I specialize in working with parents to instill emotional intelligence and self-empowerment in their children.
