Hi, I’m Veronica! It is a brave decision to seek counseling, and I support and applaud your first step toward healing. I am a Biblical Counselor in the state of Florida. My goal is to help counselees understand what the God of Scripture says about their struggles and how He is near, in the midst of them. I received my Master’s in Biblical Counseling from Westminster Theological Seminary in Pennsylvania. I also hold two certifications from the Christian Counseling & Education Foundation (CCEF): Counseling Skills & Practice and Foundations of Biblical Counseling. I live in Saint Augustine with my husband, Rodney. We were married in 1997. I’m a happy mom of two and a grateful grandmother of two. For over 20 years, I have served alongside my husband in ministry as a pastor’s wife, gaining firsthand experience of both the unique challenges and the deep joys of serving and leading in the church. Each morning, I enjoy starting my day with the Lord and a good pour-over coffee. My free time often includes traveling, reading, and making memories with my family and grandchildren. As a counselor, I walk with individuals and couples through a variety of struggles, including: Addictive behaviors: pornography, alcohol, substance abuse Marriage concerns: conflict, infidelity, etc. Emotional struggles: depression, anxiety, anger, grief & loss. The brokenness I experienced in my own life, from childhood through adulthood, led me to find consolation and healing in the Lord continually. Out of that pain, God gave me renewed hope and a deep compassion for others. I desire to help people encounter the unwavering love and presence of Christ in their own struggles. I aim to come alongside counselees with both truth and compassion, helping them uncover and address root issues, while learning what God’s Word says about their circumstances. Ultimately, I long to see them live joyful, God-honoring lives, even in the midst of hardship. ** I do not diagnose nor provide clinical care( as defined in Florida chapter 491).
