Introduction

Hi, I’m Veronica, a bilingual and bicultural Licensed Mental Health Counselor who works with adolescents and adults healing from trauma, difficult relationships, and experiences that have affected the way they see themselves and connect with others. I provide therapy in both English and Spanish and understand how culture, family, identity, and lived experience can shape both our struggles and the way we heal. I specialize in relational trauma—the kind of hurt that happens within relationships that were supposed to feel safe. These experiences can leave you questioning yourself, repeating painful relationship patterns, struggling to trust others, or feeling disconnected from who you used to be. Together, we can begin understanding those patterns, processing what you have been through, and helping you reconnect with a sense of self that feels authentic and whole. My approach is trauma-informed and grounded in evidence-based practices, including EMDR. I bring both warmth and directness into the therapy room, creating a space where you can feel supported while also doing the deeper work necessary for meaningful change. I believe therapy isn't about telling you who you should become—it's about helping you reconnect with who you already are underneath the weight of what you've experienced. As the daughter of an immigrant and an LGBTQ+ advocate, I value creating a culturally responsive and affirming space where all parts of your identity are welcome. Whether you feel most comfortable expressing yourself in English, Spanish, or both, my goal is for you to feel genuinely understood while we work toward healing, stronger relationships, and a deeper trust in yourself.
