Introduction

I’m Victor Onuoha, a Licensed Professional Counselor and National Board-Certified Counselor with over 14 years of experience supporting individuals, couples, and families through life’s most challenging transitions. I’m also the founder of Cutting Edge Counseling Services, where I provide thoughtful, results-oriented care for clients who are ready to move beyond survival mode and into healthier, more connected lives. My work is grounded, direct, and deeply relational. I specialize in helping people navigate relationship distress, emotional disconnection, and long-standing patterns that keep them stuck. Much of my clinical approach is rooted in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and attachment-based care—evidence-based methods that focus on understanding emotional needs, strengthening bonds, and creating lasting change rather than short-term relief. Clients often come to me feeling overwhelmed, misunderstood, or uncertain about how to move forward—whether they’re struggling in their marriage, managing the weight of responsibility, healing from past wounds, or working to show up differently for themselves and their families. With over a decade of clinical experience, I’ve learned that meaningful progress happens when therapy is both structured and compassionate. Together, we slow things down, uncover what’s happening beneath the surface, and build practical tools for communication, emotional regulation, and personal growth. I believe therapy works best when it’s consistent, intentional, and collaborative. My role isn’t to “fix” you, but to partner with you as you gain clarity, strengthen your relationships, and create a life that feels more aligned, stable, and sustainable. When you’re ready to do meaningful work—whether individually or as a couple—I’m here to support you.
