Introduction

Hello! I’m Victoria Iwanowski, a dedicated and passionate licensed social worker.. My journey began at Arcadia University, where I earned my undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice. This foundational knowledge sparked my interest in understanding the nuances of the criminal justice system, which led me to pursue a master’s degree in Social Work from West Chester University. Throughout my career, I have developed a deep commitment to helping individuals and families navigate the complexities of both the criminal justice system and the accompanying mental health challenges. I understand that these areas can often feel overwhelming, and I take pride in being a steady guide for my clients through these difficult times. My passion extends to providing support for those grappling with mental health issues related to sports performance, as I recognize the unique pressures that athletes face both on and off the field. In my practice, I focus on helping individuals explore and cope with anxiety, depression, and ADHD. I employ a variety of evidence-based strategies and techniques, including Motivational Interviewing, Strength-Based approaches, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). These modalities allow me to tailor my approach to meet the unique needs of each person I work with, empowering them to implement new strategies that foster resilience and growth. Working closely with teenagers and young adults is a highlight of my career. I am deeply invested in aiding them as they adjust to the challenges of college life and transition into the workforce. I understand that this phase of life can be both exciting and daunting, and I strive to create a safe and supportive environment where my clients can express their concerns openly. My goal is to facilitate their journey toward positive change so they can truly live life to the fullest. I believe that everyone deserves a chance to thrive, and I am here to help my clients find their footing amidst the challenges they face. With every interaction, I aim to inspire hope, cultivate resilience, and celebrate progress, no matter how small. I look forward to continuing to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those I work with, and I am excited about the journey ahead! When not in the office you can find me going on random adventures with my dog or watching sports with my family. I pride myself on always wanting to try new things and learn more with each day.I look forward to discovering new interests and learning random facts together!
