Vincent Yannella

Hello My name is Vincent Yannella. I am a marriage and family therapy intern, which means I am under the supervision of Dr. Boucher, Ph.D. She has a doctorate in marriage and family therapy and is a licensed marriage and family therapist in both Rhode Island and Connecticut. Additionally, Dr. Boucher is the owner of Cumberland Counseling, LLC. Her office is located in Cumberland or also in East Providence, RI. I am only allowed to provide marriage and family therapy counseling in Rhode Island under her supervision af these locations. I have worked in the mental health field for the past 25 years as a residential counselor as well as worked in the mental health field as a substance abuse counselor. I have a bachelor’s degree in general psychology from Charter Oak State College. Currently, I am pursuing a master’s degree in marriage and family therapy at National University. I have a 3.7 GPA. I have extensive clinical knowledge and skills to effectively work with individuals, couples, and families. I use an integrative therapy approach when I am working with clients as well as using evidence-based psychotherapies and interventions. In the near future, I intend to earn a doctorate in counseling psychology.
