Hello, my name is Virginia (Ginny) Lynch and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Texas. My passion for becoming a therapist began when as a teenager I worked at a Salvation Army summer camp for children. From there, I obtained my undergraduate degree in Psychology at Dallas Baptist University. After working at a Child-Placing Agency Agency with foster and adoptive families and being trained as a TBRI® Facilitator, God inspired me to pursue my master’s degree to provide clinical services to those who have experienced trauma. Upon receiving my MSW from UTA and subsequent licensure, I began working in schools, providing individual and group therapy to adolescents. I understand the unique challenges that young adults, adolescents and families face in the digital age. My heart is to help clients learn healthy ways to connect with others, engage mindfully in the world offline, and discover that they are uniquely created to do good works by God’s design. We are wired for connection, and it is through the transformative power of healthy relationships that God can truly bring hope and healing to those who may have been wounded in unhealthy relationships or past trauma. Jesus met others with compassion and truth amid their pain, and it my desire to meet clients as He did, by giving voice to their experiences and feelings. I work with young adults, adolescents, men, women and families dealing with a variety of challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, attachment and relationship issues, and social skills. I have been married for over 30 years and have three grown children and four beautiful grandchildren. During my downtime, I enjoy hiking, traveling, reading and watching true-life unsolved mysteries, and attending concerts and plays. I completed my first backpacking trip and summitted Mt. Handies in 2024 and look forward to many more outdoor adventures with my family. My bucket list includes learning to play pickleball and exploring the Grand Canyon!
