I collaborate with clients to use creativity to problem solve, develop insight, and make positive change. I focus on clients’ individuality, and use expressive and creative arts therapies, CBT and relational approaches to identify and alter unhelpful patterns. I am committed to serving both artists and college/grad students in all content areas to navigate pressure, pursuit of excellence and transition to career. I work with people who care for children, elders, and family members with a high level of need as well as adults processing childhood or adolescent rejection, trauma or lack of support in important relationships. And I am passionate about working with couples to tolerate differences between them and find a way to meet the needs of everyones needs. My clinical practice is enriched by my career in the arts as a professor and director, having directed or taught in some of the most well-regarded programs in the country, including Juilliard, Yale, and NYU.
