Introduction

Hello, I'm Virginia Voigt. I've been a psychiatric social worker for 36 years. I have a broad range of experience including clients with relationship problems, severe mental illness, substance abuse and co-occurring psychiatric disorders, bipolar, depressive, and anxiety disorders. I am also interested in working with clients who have felt fearful, demoralized, or hopeless due to problems in current American culture. I've learned from my clients who are from different cultures and races. Their perspectives on and experiences living in American culture have helped me to expand my awareness of others and myself. I work with all ages from middle schoolers to older adults.
