Introduction

I am a board-certified psychiatrist based in the Berkshires, MA, specializing in intensive psychoanalytic therapy and medication management centered on your agency and long-term growth. I work with individuals who feel fundamentally stuck in repetitive emotional loops and are ready to move beyond symptom management. Together, we will build a deeply collaborative partnership where you can actively decode the entrenched psychological dynamics, relational patterns, and trauma that keep you from moving forward. In our work, we will clarify complex internal conflicts and explore how they intersect with medication usage. If medication is utilized, it is integrated as a precise tool to support your growth rather than simply masking your symptoms. Following my residency at Mount Sinai Morningside West in New York City, I honed my skills with advanced psychoanalytic training at the renowned Austen Riggs Center. This background allows me to work deeply with individuals, couples, families, and groups. While I draw from multiple treatment modalities, including trauma-informed care, CBT, and DBT, my framework remains predominantly psychodynamic and tailored precisely to your unique architecture. Intensive therapy requires courage, curiosity, and a willingness to explore the uncomfortable. If you are ready to take an active role in understanding your internal world and want a highly specialized therapeutic relationship to break through lifelong patterns, I invite you to reach out for an initial consultation. Practice Availability & Multi-State Setup: • Massachusetts: Available for hybrid care (virtual and in-person in Great Barrington, MA) with full psychiatric prescribing capacity. • New York & Connecticut: Available for virtual-only intensive therapy, psychoanalysis, psychodynamic and psychiatric consultations, and medication management (excluding controlled substances). • Fees and Insurance: Private-pay with monthly superbills provided for out-of-network insurance reimbursement. Contact me today to schedule an initial consultation and see if we are a good fit.
