Introduction

I am a board-certified psychiatrist based in the Berkshires, MA, specializing in intensive therapy and medication management that centers your agency and growth. I believe in developing a deeply collaborative partnership with you: a space where you can actively understand, make meaning of, and navigate your emotional experiences. In our work, I will help you clarify complex psychological dynamics and, where applicable, explore how they intersect with medication usage. My goal is to ensure medication is a tool that supports your treatment goals rather than just a way to mask symptoms. For the past decade, I have worked across a variety of settings, including outpatient clinics, intensive outpatient programs, ACT teams, residential centers, and hospitals. After completing my psychiatry residency at Mount Sinai Morningside West in New York City, I honed my skills with specialized psychoanalytic training at the renowned Austen Riggs Center. This background allows me to work deeply with individuals, couples, families, and groups, helping people get unstuck from entrenched cycles. I draw from multiple treatment modalities—predominantly psychodynamic therapy, alongside trauma-informed care, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and motivational interviewing—to tailor our work precisely to your needs. If you are ready to explore your emotional world and take an active role in your treatment, I am here to support you. Contact me today to schedule an initial consultation and see if we are a good fit.
