Introduction

Viviana is currently pursuing her master’s in Christian Counseling at Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary in Charlotte, NC. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Pre-Counseling at Moody Bible Institute in 2018. She believes in the importance of holistic care that considers the mental, emotional, physical, spiritual, and social aspects of a client’s well-being. She seeks to create a safe and empathetic therapeutic space where clients can feel seen and heard, feel free to explore and process their experiences and struggles, and support their healing and growth. Drawing from her own experience, she believes that a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship can provide a foundation for healing and meaningful change. Viviana strives to integrate evidence-based practices within a collaborative and individualized approach that honors each client’s needs and goals. She welcomes the opportunity to integrate faith when desired by the client. She draws from various counseling modalities such as person-centered therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and trauma-informed care. She is trained in Prepare/Enrich and draws from the Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) with couples. She enjoys working with children, pre-teens, adults, and couples. Her areas of interest include anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, relational concerns, stress, life transitions, and spirituality. She offers counseling services in English, Spanish, and Korean. She loves serving people from diverse backgrounds and cultures and seeks to provide genuine, compassionate, and culturally responsive care. In her free time, she loves spending time with her husband and two children. She enjoys cooking, running, and grabbing coffee with friends.
