Introduction

Vonitra Taylor is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 25 years of experience across helping professions, including education, law enforcement, and clinical mental health. This diverse background provides a unique perspective on understanding people from multiple angles, the systems they navigate, the challenges they face, and the deep healing they deserve. Philosophy: You are not broken. The struggles you face today often began as protective responses to past experiences. My role is to help you stay anchored in safety while you grow toward healing—understanding your internal system, releasing the burdens wounded parts carry, and accessing the innate wisdom and compassion you already possess. Deep healing isn't about managing symptoms—it's about transformation from the inside out. Why "Vine and Anchor"? The name Vine and Anchor captures the essence of this work: staying grounded while reaching toward growth. Like a vine that needs both deep roots and space to climb toward light, healing requires both stability and expansion. The anchor represents the grounding presence of Self; the steady, compassionate center that holds you secure even in life's storms. The vine represents growth, connection, and the natural unfolding of your authentic self as parts heal and Self-leadership emerges. Together, they symbolize the journey: anchored in safety, growing toward wholeness.
