I’m Wanda Massey, LMSW, a clinical therapist and school social worker in Dearborn, Michigan. My passion is helping individuals and families heal from the weight of trauma, reconnect with themselves, and move toward a more grounded and meaningful life. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of Michigan–Dearborn and a Master of Social Work from Eastern Michigan University. In 2019, I also completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training with an incredible instructor (Naomi Gold) at the Detroit Yoga Lab. This training deepened my appreciation for the mind-body connection and continues to inform the somatic awareness I bring into my therapeutic work. In my private practice, Reprocess Therapy LLC, I specialize in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I trained through the Personal Transformation Institute (PTI), where I learned their S.A.F.E. (Somatic and Attachment Focused EMDR) model. This unique approach integrates attachment theory, somatic awareness, mindfulness, and nonviolence, providing clients with a deeply safe and effective healing process. I am currently nearing full EMDR certification, which reflects my ongoing commitment to advanced training and professional excellence. Alongside my clinical work, I serve as a school social worker, collaborating with students, families, and educators to strengthen coping skills, resilience, and emotional well-being. Balancing both private practice and school-based work gives me a broad and practical perspective on the diverse challenges people face at different life stages. Outside of my professional roles, I’m a wife and mother of two young boys. I know firsthand the joys and challenges of balancing family, work, and personal growth. These experiences shape the warmth, empathy, and practicality I bring to every session. My goal is to create a safe, affirming space where clients feel seen, understood, and supported as they discover their own strengths, rewrite old narratives, and move toward lasting healing.
