Introduction

I am a professional psychologist with about 45 years of experience with children, adolescents, parents, and adults. My professional experience has been in schools, residential facilities, psychiatric hospitals, outpatient child and adolescent clinics, and hospital emergency departments. I have considerable experience with the cognitive-behavioral treatment of trauma. I have a specialty in school psychology, which integrates psychology, education, and child development to help children and adolescents succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. School psychology services often include behavioral and emotional intervention and parent consultation, among other things. I have been an invited speaker at international conferences and rare-disease patient support meetings across the USA. I have been an invited lecturer to medical students, and I am currently a professor in a graduate school program, preparing the next generation of school psychologists. Having been a credentialed professional for many years in diverse settings, dealing with problems that are intense and at times painfully ambiguous, I have never lost my idealism. I continue to apply my skills and my values toward repairing the world. I do not accept insurance, but I can issue a bill for filing claims. I am licensed in Connecticut and Florida, so clients must be physically located in one of those states.
