Introduction

Heather Phillips, MA, LMFT, IMFT Counselor Heather provides a warm and grounded telehealth space for children, teens, and adults navigating life’s heaviest transitions. A graduate of Indiana Wesleyan University, she also holds a specialized degree in Medical Family Therapy. This advanced training allows her to bridge the gap between physical health and emotional well-being, providing expert support for those navigating infertility, postpartum adjustments, chronic illness, and the unique stressors of caregiving. Her Approach Heather’s work is rooted in an attachment-focused lens, helping you untangle the "survival modes" and early stories that may be keeping you stuck. By incorporating an IFS-informed perspective, she helps you reconnect with your internal "parts" to rediscover your grounded, centered Self. She is trained in S.A.F.E. EMDR, a somatic approach that allows for the gentle processing of trauma and grief. Heather is passionate about walking alongside individuals to help them heal, grow, and navigate life's challenges with resilience. Zack Bessesen Practice Manager Zack serves as the operational heart of WellBeginnings LLC.
