Introduction

Heather Phillips, MA, LMFT, IMFT Counselor Heather provides a warm, collaborative, and grounded telehealth space for teens and adults navigating life’s challenges. Whether clients feel weighed down by the past, overwhelmed by the present, or exhausted from trying to hold everything together, she offers a supportive environment to slow down, feel understood, and begin to breathe again. A graduate of Indiana Wesleyan University, Heather also holds a specialized post-master’s degree in Medical Family Therapy. This training reflects her deep commitment to the connection between physical health and emotional well-being. She is especially passionate about supporting individuals navigating infertility, postpartum experiences, chronic illness, or pain—helping them process the often unseen emotional weight that accompanies these challenges. Her Approach Therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all. Heather walks alongside her clients to explore how thoughts, emotions, relationships, and nervous system responses shape daily life. Drawing from CBT, IFS, Polyvagal Theory, attachment-informed work, and S.A.F.E. EMDR, she tailors each session to meet each person's unique needs. She balances deeper processing with practical, real-time tools to help clients feel more grounded and supported. Her goal is to create a compassionate space where clients can heal, grow, and reconnect with their resilience—moving toward a life that feels more centered, connected, and whole. Zack Bessesen Practice Manager Zack serves as the operational heart of WellBeginnings LLC. His Role As Practice Manager, Zack oversees the essential business details that allow our clinical work to remain the primary focus.
