I am a Spanish bilingual Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (#133716) When we have experienced trauma or neglect we end up developing a warped perception of ourselves and the world and because no human being is immune, I believe we all have something to work through. Because of my prior EMS experience in New York City and my lived experience as part of the NYC community during 9/11, I developed a strong foundation in crisis response, adaptability, and trauma-informed care, which continues to inform my clinical work with individuals experiencing complex trauma. I have extensive experience working with diverse populations and addressing a broad range of complex concerns, including narcissistic abuse, intimate partner violence (IPV), sexual assault, child maltreatment, and court-mandated cases. My work is grounded in trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and client-centered approaches. I am also committed to supporting first responders and military service members through culturally competent, trauma-informed care. Dedicated to fostering resilience, reducing stigma around mental health treatment, and strengthening individual, family, and community well-being through compassionate, confidential, and evidence-based support. My approach is simple and rooted in creating a safe, compassionate, and empowering environment to facilitate recovery and strengthen relational connections. I invite you to come as you are to begin the journey to connect/reconnect to your ideal self and restore/explore what you are truly made for.
