Introduction

I have been told that I am a warm, compassionate therapist. My clients feel heard and understood in our work together. I listen and actively reflect, creating safety and noticing important patterns and thought processes that are coming up for my clients, that might be getting in the way for them. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, and ADHD-related dysregulation. Many clients feel overwhelmed, avoidant or reactive, affecting relationships, parenting, and daily life. I am a trauma-informed and help clients feel seen while building balance, resilience, and practical coping skills using CBT, ACT, and DBT, leading to deeper fulfillment. What was your path to becoming a mental health provider? I come from a family of therapists (sisters, cousins, and in-laws), so perhaps there’s a genetic calling to the work. I began my career in banking but quickly realized I wanted to work more directly with people, supporting them to lead more fulfilling lives. I’ve been in the mental health field since 2002, partnering with individuals of all ages and backgrounds. As a trauma-informed therapist, I help clients navigate emotional challenges, heal from past experiences, and develop healthier ways of thinking and living. Earlier in my career, I worked as a school counselor, career and vocational counselor. I honor so many parts of the therapeutic relationship and am grateful to get to work in this field every day.
