Hi, my name is Wendy, a licensed therapist in the state of California. I enjoy supporting adults navigating anxiety, ADHD challenges, first-generation experiences, and individuals who identify as being a part of the BIPOC and Latinx communities. I have specialized training and a strong passion for supporting the neurodivergent community, with a focus on ADHD and executive functioning challenges. I am also committed to supporting children and adolescents that may be struggling with regulating emotions and behaviors that may be impacted by anxiety, ADHD, or emotional outbursts. I take a collaborative, evidence-based approach and incorporate play-based techniques to enhance emotional and behavioral regulation. I also provide parent coaching and parent support through Parent Management Training (PMT), parent-focused treatment for childhood anxiety and adolescent ADHD , and Parent–Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT). I enjoy partnering with parents to strengthen effective parenting strategies, improve family relationships, and support meaningful, long-term growth. My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and practical. I work to create a safe and supportive space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered, while also providing tools to support meaningful change. I believe therapy should be both validating and skill-building. Providing culturally responsive therapy is central to my work. I value the role of culture, family, and community in shaping identity and well-being, and I am mindful of the unique strengths and challenges often present in first-generation and multicultural communities. I take a whole-person approach that extends beyond the individual, helping clients strengthen connections, build supportive systems, and enhance resiliency.
