Introduction

I’m Wesley Detwiler, a PHD Clinical Psychologist located in Palm Springs. I specialize in providing psychological services to the LGBTQ community and have extensive experience working with individuals struggling with addiction issues. I combine evidence-based therapies such as EMDR and Brainspotting to help my clients regulate their emotions, resolve traumas, and increase self-awareness. Additionally, I utilize the Gottman Method of Couples Therapy to effectively treat relationship issues within partnerships. My aim is to help my clients recognize the underlying causes of distress so that they can better cope with life’s challenges. As a compassionate and experienced clinician, I strive to create an atmosphere of safety and understanding so that my clients can feel comfortable exploring their thoughts and feelings.
