Wes is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and primarily utilizes the modalities of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Narrative Therapy in his approach and views the therapeutic relationship as non-directive and non-hierarchical. Wes engages each client from a collaborative standpoint while allowing the client to dictate the pace of therapy. Each client is respected as the expert of their own life and is seen as a co-detective in the therapeutic process. Wes specializes in anxiety and stress management, assertiveness, and self-actualization through the consistent employment of self-care and coping strategies. Wes also holds certifications as a Psychedelic-Assisted Psychotherapist (PATP) from Integrative Psychiatry Institute, and in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing ( EMDR) from EMDRIA.
