Welcome to Our Practice Maybe something painful happened to you—or to someone you love—and now you're left wondering how to live with the grief, anxiety, depression, or anger. You might notice your relationships are strained: perhaps you overreact, feel numb, or find yourself emotionally disconnected from others. You’ve likely been in therapy before. You’ve learned coping skills. But if you’re honest, you’re tired of just coping. Here’s the good news: your brain is wired to heal. Thanks to neuroplasticity, the brain has an incredible capacity to rewire itself—even after trauma. If you’ve found little relief from traditional approaches, you may be carrying undischarged trauma. And that’s where we come in. Our team specializes in helping you release trauma at its root—so you can finally feel free. About the Founder I’m a licensed clinical psychologist with master’s and doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology, an MBA from the University of Wisconsin, and a BA in Psychology from Marquette University. My predoctoral training was at UC Davis and Woodland Community College, while my postdoctoral training took place at a California Youth Correctional Facility, where trauma was universal. I also worked at Kaiser Permanente before opening my private practice. Our Team Our practice includes both licensed and associate (prelicensed) therapists. Every clinician is deeply trauma-informed and trained in cutting-edge modalities to treat trauma and other mental health conditions across the lifespan. What Is Brainspotting? Brainspotting (BSP) is a powerful, focused therapy we use daily to treat trauma. It works by identifying, processing, and releasing core neurophysiological sources of emotional pain, dissociation, and other symptoms. Brainspotting locates specific points in your visual field—called brainspots—that correlate with unprocessed trauma stored in the subcortical brain. By holding attention on these spots, the brain begins to process and release the trauma, bypassing the conscious mind and accessing the deeper regions where pain is held. This approach allows healing to unfold organically, often with profound results. If you’re ready to move beyond coping and into true healing, we’re here to walk that path with you.
