Introduction

I’m Dr. Marco Hidalgo, a licensed clinical psychologist and founder of Westlight Therapy, a Los Angeles–based private practice providing discreet, individualized care for children, adolescents, adults and adult couples. I work with clients who are high-functioning, often in visible or high-pressure roles, and who value privacy, depth, and clinical expertise. My background includes academic medicine and specialty mental health care. I specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, identity development, and major life transitions, with particular expertise serving LGBTQ+ individuals, including trans and non-binary individuals. My approach is collaborative and tailored, integrating evidence-based and insight-oriented methods. I offer private telehealth, prioritizing confidentiality, continuity, and meaningful therapeutic work. Clients often seek me out when they are ready for thoughtful care that goes beyond symptom management.
