Wellness for the Culture is a culturally responsive mental health practice committed to bridging the gap between clinical care, lived experience, and community healing. Founded by Whitney Dodds, MA, LPC, LMHC, WFTC centers the mental, emotional, and spiritual wellness of marginalized communities, especially Black and Brown individuals navigating generational trauma, systemic barriers, and faith-based identity. Through therapy, workshops, training, and advocacy, WFTC provides spaces where people can unlearn harmful narratives, embrace self-compassion, and pursue wholeness without fragmenting their cultural or spiritual truths. WFTC doesn’t just treat symptoms—we create community, cultivate identity, and walk with people as they live into freedom.
