Will is a Mental Health Counseling intern at Joyful Pathways Mental Health Counseling. They work with children, adolescents, adults, older adults, couples, and families from diverse cultural, racial, ethnic, gender, sexual orientation, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Will is committed to providing a warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe to explore their experiences, develop greater self-awareness, and work toward meaningful change. They strive to create a therapeutic space where every individual feels heard, respected, and empowered throughout their healing journey. Will earned bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Communication with a minor in Music from the University at Albany and is currently completing their master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling. Their clinical experience includes working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, relationship concerns, identity development, grief, stress, life transitions, and other mental health concerns. They value meeting clients where they are while incorporating psychoeducation and evidence-based interventions to promote insight, resilience, and lasting growth. Will’s counseling style is primarily rooted in person-centered therapy while integrating approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and other evidence-based interventions.
