Introduction

I work with adults from all walks of life, often with anxiety, depression, OCD, existential issues, life transitions, and all kinds of grief. Life involves plenty of suffering, but can be rich and beautiful when we find what's most meaningful. My main approach is Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which is all about changing your relationship with your thoughts and emotions so they do not overpower you and keep you from what matters most in your life. It's versatile especially for any persistent thought patterns that get in your way. I also use Internal Family Systems therapy (IFS) as a way of uncovering hidden parts of oneself, including self-sabotaging behaviors and thought patterns, their function, and what they need to heal. I work with an existential lens and also enjoy working with clients in the context of their faith and spirituality.
