You’re strong and capable, used to holding everything together for everyone, but lately it feels heavier. You may be exhausted from ruminating, managing conflict, or carrying all your responsibilities. Beneath it all, unresolved trauma can quietly shape how you live your life. I’m a trauma-focused psychologist for adults who need guidance to recover. Together, we’ll gently explore how your past and your identities (e.g., race, ethnicity, religious affiliation, gender, etc.) have shaped you, and create a steady, thoughtful path toward relief, clarity, and a more grounded sense of self. Therapy with me is comfortable, genuine, and collaborative. Working at your own pace, we'll identify the patterns that once kept you safe but now limit your freedom. I'll guide you to improve your relationships and feel more at peace. After 3-4 months, we'll have made lasting, grounded change. I have a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Utah, completed specialty internship and fellowship in trauma psychology at in the San Antonio VA, and am an adjunct faculty at UT School of Medicine. Outside of therapy, I love to read, explore small Texas towns, exercise, and share life with the people who matter most.
