Introduction

Xochilt Vazquez is a bilingual (English/Spanish) and EMDRIA Certified EMDR therapist that specializes in the treatment of trauma. Xochilt has over eight years of experience treating children, adolescents, and adults who have experienced recent or past traumatic event(s). Recently, she has also been providing EMDR Intensives remotely to offer clients a more dedicated time to work on a particular concern over a course of one week to help clients save time and obtain faster relief when compared to weekly therapy sessions. Xochilt is honored to walk with clients as they work through the pain they have carried for a long time. The positive changes she hopes each client experiences are those that she has seen in others she has helped. She has witnessed that through a combination of talk therapy, EMDR techniques, HeartMath techniques, and other trauma-focused therapies the traumatic images, and negative thoughts a person believes about themselves can change and the traumatic event be remembered without the intense distress. My practice is entirely online, and I am available via email or phone call. I offer therapy via secure video conferencing. It is an effective option that I have experience working with.
