Yael Fischman is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with a warm, thoughtful, and practical approach to therapy. She works with children, teens, and adults, helping them navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity, confidence, and resilience. In addition to her private practice, Yael also provides support to students and staff at SKA High School. Yael has deep experience in a wide range of areas, including anxiety, ADHD, executive functioning struggles, self-esteem, parenting, decision-making, relationship skills and healing from trauma. She is certified in the TripleP Positive Parenting Program and brings a compassionate and strengths-based perspective to her work with parents and families. Her approach to therapy is flexible and personalized, blending techniques from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Play Therapy, Attachment Theory, Narrative Therapy and Psychodynamic work—depending on what each client needs to grow and thrive.
