Introduction

Welcome! I’m Yamilka Pourani, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with over 20 years of healthcare experience. I began my nursing career in 2002, and throughout my journey, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for the connection between mental, emotional, and physical well-being. My approach is compassionate, personalized, and judgment-free. I believe every person deserves to feel heard and understood, and I take the time to listen to your concerns, understand your experiences, and work with you to develop a treatment plan that fits your individual needs. I provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management for adolescents and adults experiencing concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, and other mental health challenges. Taking the first step toward feeling better can be difficult, and you don’t have to navigate it alone. If you’re looking for a provider who will listen, support you, and work collaboratively with you, I would be honored to be part of your journey toward improved mental and emotional well-being.
