Introduction

I help adolescents and young adults navigate high school, college, dating, academic stress, work distress, "imposter syndrome," self-doubt and struggling to keep their distressing thoughts under the surface. Like holding a beach ball under water, I know it's difficult. Often clients I work with first reach out due to a crisis but then, when we get through the crisis, work with me out how to make lasting change. At the heart of my work is the therapeutic relationship. I collaborate with my clients, meeting them where they are at. I build trust by demystifying the work we are doing. I work closely with parents and schools, when appropriate, and other medical professionals as needed.
